Em. Univ. Prof. Dipl.- Ing. Dr. techn. Lutz Sparowitz has been chairman of the department of concrete- and ferro concrete constructions of the Technical University Graz and was in this position responsible for the education of construction engineers in the fields of concrete-, ferro concrete-, and prestressed ferro concrete constructions.<\/p>\n
Beside this activity relevant research and dissertations are worked out by the department of concrete- and ferro concrete constructions. Especially in the specific field of ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) the department still does a lot of research.<\/p>\n
Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. Pius W\u00f6rle is additional to his work as managing partner of the engineering consulting company W\u00f6rle Sparowitz Ingenieure assistant lecturer of the University of Applied Sciences Joanneum in Graz study course Construction Design and Economics. He is entrusted with the courses timber construction, integrated support structures, and project work: civil engineering. The course instructions of the course project work: civil engineering are focused on ferro concrete bridge constructions.<\/p>\n
Beside the teaching activity many diploma and bachelor theses were mentored.<\/p>\n
QUICKWAY is a research project of the civil engineering companies W\u00f6rle Sparowitz Ingenieure and Hans Lechner ZT<\/a> in cooperation with Institut f\u00fcr Betonbau<\/a>, Institut f\u00fcr Baubetrieb<\/a>, Institut f\u00fcr Bauwirtschaft<\/a> and the Labor f\u00fcr konstruktiven Ingenieurbau<\/a> from the University of Technology of Graz.<\/p>\n More information about this project: Materials research for large-scale heat storage is a research project of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) in cooperation with W\u00f6rle Sparowitz Ingenieure Ziviltechniker GmbH, the Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE), MABA Fertigindustrie GmbH, Smart Minerals GmbH (consortium leader), STT GmbH and the Institute of Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering and Numerical Geotechnics.<\/p>\n <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Em.
