The new building and extension of the NMS Dr. Renner, Graz, will be constructed using a mixed construction method comprising reinforced concrete (basement and ground floor) and solid timber (first and second floors). In addition, a two-storey gymnasium extension will be built. The façades will be timber façades with green mesh systems.
The existing listed school building will be refurbished and comprehensively adapted to the new school concept.
